Interview with Luccas
Rayne: Good afternoon Luc, Thank you so much for being here today.
Luccas: Thank you Rayne, I know you have been trying to have this for a while but sorry about my schedule. It’s crazy sometimes.
Rayne: I can only imagine, I’m glad we finally got a few seconds. How is everyone doing?
Luccas: Well busy for sure. Harm has been working almost as much as I have. But the good news is that the adoption of Shiloh is about to go through so we both are extremely excited. We have her room all set up and my mother has been on a crazy shopping spree for the past month, we are running out of room.
Rayne: Oh how wonderful! Congratulations Luc! So did the two of you decide to stay at Harms apartment instead of your place? Wouldn’t that have had more room?
Luccas: Well we were going to move to my place, but my brother is working his way out of the military and needs a place to stay so Harm and I both decided that it would be better for him and his friend to have the house for now. You know so they have a better chance of getting on their feet and not have to worry about a place to live to survive. They have had to endure enough as it is.
Rayne: That’s right Vik is back stateside. Very glad to hear he made it home safely.
Luccas: Yes, we are all very thankful he is home safe. I get my best man at my wedding.
Rayne: I can’t wait for it, I received my invitation, thank you so much. I’m bringing my camera.
Luccas: I want copies.
Rayne: Lol. Of course. So next question is actually from some readers.
Luccas: Really? Wow, that’s exciting.
Mary Boehm: How does it feel to finally get the one that fulfills your life?
Luccas: That’s easy to answer, I feel complete. There was always a hole inside of me I didn’t really understand but even when Harm and I were fighting each other that hole inside grew smaller. Then when she accepted us and what we could be my life was fully complete. Then my hearts near to bursting because I also get to add a beautiful daughter to our lives. Yes it is complicated sometimes, especially with Harms moods, but it’s what makes life worth living.
Rayne: Luc that was beautiful. I love hearing about how happy you are with Harmony.
Luccas: And I really do love telling people.
Rayne: Now for our next reader question.
Savannah Hill: What made you decide to become a homicide detective?
Luccas: For me, Savannah, all I wanted to be when I grew up was a cop. As I grew older and started to pursue that dream the rose colored glasses came off pretty quickly. I saw the evil in the world and I wanted to do something. If I wasn’t able to stop people from doing bad things then I sure as hell would be vengeance for the innocents that lost their lives.
Janka Dustan: What is it about Harmony that you adore and can’t be without?
Luccas: Ah Janka, her fire. Her sass. I love the sweet tender moments, but I crave the passion inside her. She gives it to me straight and has her own opinions. I want to never live without her fire.
Cassandra Lashley: If you could change anything in the world what would you choose?
Luccas: Anything in the world, hmmm… I guess because with this fight for Shiloh I would say a better foster care system. More help to family’s that need it and less bad people in the world. It would put me out of a job, but I could care less about that as long as my girls were walking around in a safe world.
Rayne: Well that’s really all the time we have together. Thank you again for coming Luc, I hate to cut it short.
Luccas: And thank you for having me Rayne. I know I would rather stay right now but I am due for court in a few hours so it is probably best. Harm says Hello and she would like to chat with you a bit about her sister, Bronwyne.
Rayne: I am so there. I know exactly what she wants to talk about and it’s going to be fun.
Luccas: Good. Have a great evening.
Rayne: You too.
Rayne: Good afternoon Luc, Thank you so much for being here today.
